Upcycling Canoe Restoration

Canoes are facinating to me because they are (usually) light, look good and are very versatile. The idea was to get a transportable boat for quick adventures when my sailboats wouldn't be a good fit. I thought that upcycling an old beaten canoe would be a great experiment, in budget and also show if we would actually have a use for it.
